Last week Year 12 Society and Culture students travelled to Sydney to partake in a HSC Study Day. This day was a great opportunity to learn from other teachers and meet a few hundred other students studying the same course. Students learned how to decode and break down multiple choice questions and prepare detailed extended responses. They also walked away with a variety of study tools and practise questions to help them revise before the HSC Exam in October. While they were in Sydney students got some 'real life society and culture' by going to China Town, staying in the centre of the city and enjoying the light spectacular of Vivid. It's so great for our students to have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and access such valuable learning opportunities.
