Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 students will be participating in Work Experience during weeks 7 and 8 of Term 4.  The approval process for Work Experience is well underway. Thank you to those students who have provided the details of their Work Experience employers via the Google Form provided. These students will have now received the paperwork required to be completed and returned by the end of Week 5.

Thank you to parents for supporting and encouraging your student to be proactive in completing processes and forms promptly. Developing the confidence and communication skills to do this is part of the value of our Work Experience Program.

Early Entry (Year 12)

Year 12 should be finialising and submitting their early entry applications at this time as some universities closing dates are approaching. They can be encouraged to speak to Ms Harper if further support is required.

Try A Trade Expo (Year 10)

• When: 21st August 2025
• Where: The Range

Year 10 students who are interested in attending the 'Try a Trade' Expo in Wagga should register their interest with Ms Harper. This event is ideal for students considering a trade of any kind. There will be 40 workplaces present with lots of interactive opportunities and opportunities to speak to prospective employers. This event is opt in, transport arrangements will be determined by numbers.

Australian Defence Force Career Information Session (Year 10 and 11)

Learn more about Australian Defence Force (ADF) roles available in the Navy, Army and Air Force by attending the upcoming information session happening on:

• Date: Tuesday, 19 August 2025
• Time: 6pm to 8pm approx.
• Venue:  Wagga Army Reserve Unit, 8 Dobbs Street, Wagga Wagga NSW 2650
