Small Schools Rugby League 2025

St Anne’s sent two teams to the Small Schools round in Wagga, 4th August. 

The under 14’s team played three games for the day, coming away with one win, one loss and a draw,meaning they do not progress to the finals round. Thanks to Kath Derrick and Matt Swanston who coached the team. Congratulations to the team on their sportsmanship, skill and behaviour throughout the day. The team was: Oscar Block, James Chalmers, Hunter Connellan, Joey Cotton, Harvey Drumore, Archie Foster, Brodie Gray, Billy Krause, Matthias Lancaster, Michael Macauley, Blake Matthews, Judd Oliver, Harry Swanston, Barney Taylor and Billy Townsend.

The under 16’s won all four of their games, with a close call against Tumbarumba 12-10. With only the bare eleven players, the team played very well and completely dominated their opponents in the other three games. The under 16’s will now progress to the finals in Bathurst on the 10th September. Congratulations and well done.
