Maintenance

During the holidays, the following maintenance items were carried out:

• Pest spraying
• Carpets professionally dry cleaned
• Wood/Metal machines professionally serviced
• Various high pressure cleaning of pathways and balconies
• New bag hooks for the Year 1 and 2 classrooms

This year we will have a focus on improving the playground. This will need to happen in this order:

1. Fix and/or install stormwater drainage across the school
2. Lay new asphalt to the playground
3. Source new playing equipment and line markings

Building Works

The renovations continue in the Secondary classrooms. The Science room is 90% complete and the students moved in there today. The Food Tech room will be available at the end of February, with the kitchen being installed next week. The Wood/Metal room will be completed at the same time as the Food Tech room. We look forward to the end of the renovations so that we can show you around the new rooms. In the holidays, the underboring for the power upgrade occured also. The next part of the power upgrade will occur in the April school holidays.
