Last term Year 1 were super excited to use Storybook Words like ‘spectacular’, ‘devour’, ‘ferocious’ and ‘gaze’ in their own writing. They have been using Word Webs to extend their vocabulary and spelling skills. They have also been smashing goals with their knowledge and use of long vowel digraphs and trigraphs. 

In Maths we have been focusing on time. We have been working on both digital and analogue clocks. Year 1 has also been using correct division and multiplication symbols when they are explaining different groups of. We are looking forward to a great Term 3.
