'A relationship exists between the Jewish covenant with God and the New Covenant with Jesus’

God made the new covenant to teach the people about salvation, forgiveness and his kingdom. Jesus’ death was part of God’s saving plan, when Jesus was crucified,  God’s mission was complete. Jesus is the new covenant and he was given to us through salvation. God wanted Jesus to come to earth to bring peace and love and to teach the people about God. The Jewish people believed that they would get land and salvation through the covenant with God. Both of the covenants were made to teach and show people God’s love for everyone.
