St Anne's had two students Livvy Blackwell and Ava Derrick attend Netball Trials for the Canberra Goulburn Primary netball team on Tuesday 14th March in Canberra. Congratulations to both girls who were selected.

Selection trials for Canberra Goulburn Rugby League U11s and U12s were also held in Canberra on Tuesday 14th March where Matthias Lancaster and Barney Taylor attended. Congratulations to Barney Taylor who was selected in the under 11's Rugby League Team.

They will now trial for MacKillop selection next term in Canberra. 

Primary Canberra Goulburn Swimming Selections Queanbeyan 2023

St Anne’s had a squad of five swimmers compete at Queanbeyan for Canberra Goulburn selection. Rylee Overs competed in the 8 YO 50m free, finishing 4th, while the junior girls relay team consisting of Abby Watts, Annabelle Gray, Elvie and Quinn Crawford finished first. Abby finished 2nd in 10YO breast, Annabelle finished 2nd in 10YO 50m free, 2nd 50 back, 3rd 200IM, 1st 50 breast and 1st 50m fly. Annabelle also won the junior age champion award, a wonderful effort. Annabelle, Abby and the relay team now progress to the next level in Sydney on the 30th March. Congratulations to all five simmers and good luck to those swimming in Sydney.

A reminder for upcoming events

Parents will need to give consent for their children if they are playing in the Stephen Bleyer Cup Rugby on the 6^th April, the Paul Kelly Cup AFL on the 5^th April and  Mortimer Shield on the 3^rd May.

Cross Country - St Anne's will run its cross country on Monday the 3^rd April at Nixon Park.

Swimming - The Temora pool will close on the 25^th March, meaning next Monday will be the last day of swimming for Primary. Please pay any outstanding pool entry to your child's teacher.
