Book Club   

Edition #2 of ‘Scholastic Book Club News’ was sent home last week. All orders are to be made and paid for by visiting https://mybookclubs.scholastic.com.au/parent/login.aspx or by downloading the LOOP app. Further information regarding this is on the last page of the Book Club newspaper. Edition #2 orders are due by 9am on Thursday 23rd, 2023.

Library Lessons

 Kinder to Year 6 classes visit the Library each week to participate in a variety of activities based on a variety of literature. K to Year 2 students have been listening to and exploring a range of fiction and non-fiction texts about Australian animals. Students in Years 3 and 4 have been learning about author David Walliams. They have listened to and read several of his short stories in 'The World's Worst' series and identified his use of alliteration, onomatopoeia and repetition. Bushrangers has been the theme for Years 5 and 6 this term. Stage 3 students are currently creating their own 'WANTED" posters.
