Scholastic Book Fair
Our Book Fair is now closed. All orders which were in stock have been sent home this week. Some books were extremely popular and have been re-ordered. These will arrive in approximately 2 weeks.
Thank you for supporting the Book Fair. Our school benefits from your purchases and we will be able to buy new books and resources for our Library.
Author Visit
To celebrate Book Week, K-2 students have been invited by the Temora Shire Library to participate in a workshop by author Debra Tidball on Friday 18th August, 2023. Debra Tidball is the author of "Anchored". This event will take place at the Town Hall from 11:10am to 11:55am. Students will walk to and from the event with their class teachers. Please check compass for details.
Book Week Parade
K-6 students are invited to come to school dressed up as their favourite book character on Wednesday 23rd August. Family and friends are invited to watch the Parade which will take place on the playground at 9:15am.
Students will parade with their class where prizes will be awarded for the best costume in each class. After last years success we will also be running "The Group Parade". This is optional. Students may choose to dress up with friends in their class or family members as a group. For example, they could come as the characters from "The Wizard of Oz".
If students choose not to dress up they are asked to come to school in their uniform. Students who have PE on Wednesday are reminded to pack suitable footwear to change into for this lesson.
Thank you to our Primary SRC who will be the judges for our Book Week Parade.
