Community Council Meeting
This week, we held the open community council meeting. Thank you to the parents that attended this. It was a great opportunity to meet Mrs Louise Grant. It was also great to hear from our fundraising event sub-committees. It is important to note, in 2026 it will be the 40th Garden Viewing event. There are big plans for celebrating this amazing milestone. The fundraising efforts of our parents is incredible and I am very grateful for the support that is shown.
Staffing
Recently, I advertised a number of staffing positions.
Ms Meaghan King will be finishing up with St Anne's at the end of this year. Meaghan has been a great asset to our learning support team and we wish her all the best with her future endeavours.
Mrs Kristy Wallace will be on leave for the 2025 school year. Mrs Samantha Park will continue supporting Junior Secondary classes in English and HSIE.
Mrs Klara Kite is stepping out of the Library role next year and she will be teaching Year 2. Mrs Nina Gaynor will be the Library Teacher for Semester 1, 2025.
We have advertised a Youth Ministry position. This will be a role that works closely with our school's Religious Education Coordinator and the Parish Priest. The Youth Minister will support retreat days, Religious Education lessons and our student's faith formation.
2025 School Fees
A letter will be sent in the next week, outlining the 2025 school fees. Please reach out if you have any questions.
I pray that the end of the year is kind to you and your family.
Take care,
Grant Haigh
Principal
All library books are due to be returned by Friday 6th December 2024. K to 10 borrowing will stop as of week 8. Returned books can be placed in the returns basket any day which is located in the Library. Students will have access to books to read in their classrooms for the remainder of the year.
Please check emails in the coming weeks for overdue notices. Students are welcome to come to the Library to look for any book they think they have returned but can't find. Any parents wanting to discuss overdue books are welcome to contact Mrs Klara Kite (Tuesday to Thursday) at St Anne's.
If an overdue notice is received for students in Years 11 and 12 please ignore these as students are required to have their textbooks over the holiday period.

NSW Braille Writing Competition
Well done Paddy Wallace who won the Junior Primary 'Best Presentation of Braille Story' Award at the NSW Braille Writing Competition. As his prize he received a Braille copy of the story 'Wild Robot'. Congratulations Paddy and his braille teacher Mrs Hope.
Our year 5 students have been penpals with some of the residents at Narraburra. They recently prepared special cards and items of significance for their penpals and took them along to meet them.
