Principal's Welcome
Welcome to the 2025 school year at St Anne’s Catholic College, Temora and to a new school year with new beginnings, new adventures, new challenges and new friendships.
Central to the St Anne’s mission, is a commitment to excellence both in academics and behaviour; building on the foundation of the values that define our Catholic identity. In line with the Josephite tradition of our founders, we believe in the transformative power of education to shape not only the minds but also the character of our students.
As St Anne’s academic excellence is not just a goal, it is an expectation. We challenge each student to strive for their personal best, recognising that each individual has unique gifts and talents to contribute to the community. Our dedicated staff members are here to guide and inspire, fostering a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom, and supports each student to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
The emphasis we place on positive behaviour and the development of values is at the heart of our mission. The students experience empowering strategies that inspire the development of positive behaviours and values in everyday life. In the pursuit of knowledge and skills, the students are reminded of the importance of values such as compassion, kindness, respect and empathy. These values are not just taught but lived within the walls of our school, creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where the students are supported in the development of faith and good character. Our Josephite tradition calls us to become beacons of light, not only in our academic pursuits, but also in our relationships and service to others.
Students at St Anne’s College experience The Resilience Project with a focus on the key principles of gratitude, empathy, mindfulness and emotional literacy. Our mission is to teach positive mental health strategies to help our students develop and maintain a growth mindset and to be resilient.
“Curious and Creative Thinkers” is the theme for 2025 adopted from the St Anne’s Identity Statement. We will explore this theme as a community and invite you to engage with us.
I pray for God’s blessing on the students, staff and families for the 2025 school year. May God help us to discover and develop the gifts we have been given and, as we grow in knowledge, may we grow in kindness and compassion.
With best regards,
Louise Grant
